چکیده

Fully mechanized top-coal caving mining with high height, hard roofs and strong pressure are popular in the Shendong area, China. The occurrence of dynamic disasters, such as rock burst, coal gas outburst, mine earthquakes goaf hurricanes during exploitation process under roof conditions, pose a threat to safe production mines. In this study, characteristics overburden fracture fully height studied, technology advanced weakening by staged fracturing was proposed. results show that strata collapse form large “cantilever beams”, it is easy release huge impact kinetic energy, forming disasters. After implementation hydraulic fracturing, periodic weighting length decreases 32.16%, overhang reasonably effectively controlled. Ellipsoidal networks direction vertical working face, horizontal perpendicular near-linear planes dominated fractures were observed, accumulated energy greatly reduced. effectiveness innovation validated, stress transfer, dissipation disasters

Characteristics of Strata Behavior during Thick Seam Mining by Fully-Mechanized Top Coal Caving in a Loess-Covered Gullied Region

This study systematically investigates the overburden movement and strata behavior at a fully-mechanized top coal caving (FMTCC) face in a thick coal seam in a loess-covered gullied region by field measurement and theoretical analysis. A comparative analysis was performed to examine how the attitude of surface gullies and the structure of overburden affect face support resistance. The character...

Gastric cancer in coal miners: a case-control study in a coal mining area.

In collaboration with three pathology departments a case-control study was conducted in the southern part of the Netherlands to investigate the risk of gastric cancer in coal miners. Between 1 January 1973 and 31 December 1983, 323 male patients were diagnosed as having a malignant neoplasm of the stomach. For each case a control was selected from the same pathology department, matched on year ...

A New Mathematical Model for Production Scheduling in Sub-level Caving Mining Method

Production scheduling in underground mines is still a manual process, and achieving a truly optimal result through manual scheduling is impossible due to the complexity of the scheduling problems. Among the underground mining methods, sub-level caving is a common mining method with a high production rate for hard rock mining. There are limited studies about long-term production scheduling...

Bioassessment of Heavy Metals in Wheat Crop from Soil and Dust in a Coal Mining Area

Coal mining and related industry can increase heavy metals (HMs) concentrations in soil, atmosphere and wheat, thereby posing metal-associated human health risk via food ingestion.  In this study, 58 samples of soil, wheat, and dust were collected from Xuzhou coal mine eastern China, six kinds of HMs Pb, Cd, Cu, Zn, As and Cr were studied for their spatial distribution in wheat, enrichment in d...
